NCP Issues Show-Cause Notice to Joint Convener Sarwar Tushar Over Misconduct Allegations
The National Citizen Party (NCP) has served a show-cause notice to its Joint Convener, Sarwar Tushar, following allegations of ethical misconduct.
The announcement was made public through an official statement on the party’s verified Facebook page.
According to the statement signed by Joint Office Secretary Saleh Uddin Sifat, Tushar has been instructed to provide a written explanation within five days. The response must be submitted to both the party’s political council and the designated inquiry committee, justifying why disciplinary action should not be taken against him.
Pending the outcome of the investigation, party leadership — including Convener Md Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Md Akhtar Hossain — has advised Tushar to abstain from all party-related activities.
While the notice confirms the initiation of internal proceedings, the specific nature of the allegations has not been disclosed by the party.
